Salvation Includes Physical Healing

Look at God's word!
Ps. 103:1-3
Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Forget not all his benefits: who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases.
Exodus 15:26
I am the Lord who heals you.
In this statement, He gave the children of Isreal one of His redemptive names.  He said, I am Jehovah-Rapha,that is, I am the Lord, your physician, your healer.  What a wonderful, universal promise this is regarding physical or mental trouble of any kind.
1 Peter 2:24 By whose stripes you were healed. James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let that person call... James states, after affirming that the prayer of faith shall save the sick, that is the sick person has committed sins, they shall be forgiven.  If only the victim of sin and sickness, who has come to Jesus for deliverance, will have faith enough to believe it, he or she will be free in body, free in spirit, healed within and healed without.  The word of God is written so that we can understand and be sure what the will of God is.
Do you believe Jesus forgives all your sins?  Then also believe Jesus heals all your sickness and disease.
John 8:32 You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Freedom from sickness comes from knowing the truth.  God does nothing without His word.
Psalms 107:20 He sent his word and it healed them.
All his work is done in faithfullness to His promises.
Heb. 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing the word of God.
When in prayer, we definitely commit to God the forgiveness of our sins, we are to believe, on the authority of His word, that our prayer is heard.  We are to do the same when praying for healing.
Proverbs 4:20-22  Attend to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.  Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart.  For they are life to those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
God tells us exactly how to attend to His words.  Let them not depart from your eyes.  Instead of having your eyes on the symptoms and being occupied with them, let not God's words depart from your eyes; that is, look at them continually and , like Abraham, be strong in faith by looking at the promises of God and at nothing else.
Gods word is seed to be planted deep within our hearts. Luke 8:11 Jesus said, The word is the seed.
It is the seed of divine life.  Until you are sure from God's word that it is His will to heal you , you are trying to reap a harvest where no seed has been planted.  It would be impossible for a farmer to have faith for a harvest before seed was planted.
When we attend to God's words by not letting them depart from before our eyes and by keeping them in the middle of our hearts, the seed is in good ground, the kind of ground in which Jesus says, it brings forth fruit, and where Paul says, it works effectively.  When the farmer puts seed into the ground, he does not dig it up everyday to see how it is doing.  He believes that the seed has begun its work.  Why not have the same faith in the imperishable seed, Christ's words, which He says are spirit and life, and believe that they are already doing their work, without waiting for visual evidence.  When your eyes are on your symptoms and your mind is occupied with them more than with God's word, you have planted the wrong kind of seed for the harvest that you desire.  You have in your mind seeds of doubt.  You are trying to raise one kind of crop form another kind of seed.  It is impossible to sow tares and reap wheat.  Your symptoms may point you to death, but God's word points you to life, and you cannot look in these opposite directions at the same time.  After you plant seed, you believe it is growing even before you see it.  This is faith, which is the evidence of things not seen.  In Christ, we have perfect evidence for faith.  Any person can get rid of their doubts by looking steadfastly and only at the evidence which God has given for our faith.  Saying only what God says will produce and increase faith.  This will make it easier to believe than to doubt; the evidences for faith are much stronger than those for doubting.  Don't doubt your faith; doubt your doubts, for they are unreliable.
Only Gods word is Reliable!
Matt.8:17 Himself bore our sicknesses and 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree.... So we would not have to!  Amen! Praise the Lord! Thankyou Jesus!
As Jesus Said...Be healed!  Go and sin no more!

Salt and Light

Well it is about time to start blogging since I started this blog in May 2011.  I noticed I have had 64 hits.

For my first blog I should explain why I named my blog The Salt Shaker.  And why my profile picture is a light house.

In Gods love letter to us, His holy bible, it says we who believe in our Father God and put our hope and trust in his son Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins and the healing of all sickness and disease in our bodies, then we are his children and are to be as salt and light to the world, or better put to our world. That means the space of people and things around you where you are at this moment.  So if we are His children, then we should show that we are.

Matthew 5;13-16 Salt and Light
You (place your name here) are the salt of the earth.  But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?  It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled by men.  You are the light of the world.  A city on a hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.  Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house (in your house, where you live, work, take up space at anytime).  In the same way, let your light shine before men (all men, women, children), that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

1 John 1:5-9  Walking in the Light
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.  If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.  But, if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all (or every) sin.  If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.  If we confess (admitt) our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

God is Light, so we also should be light to others. God is Pure, so we also should be as salt which purifys and disinfects all it touches.  This is why we purify and preserve with salt for so many of our foods and other things.  This is why salt is used in the bible as an analogy for us of how to live before the Lord and others.

So Go, Be Light to those still living in the darkness. Season your life and theirs with all that is ours in Jesus Christ as His followers and children of the living God.

I encourage you to read his word daily, just like you would season your food daily with salt and everytime you switch on a light and how important that light is to us for our daily needs, think on how important it is for Gods light and the light of his word to shine forth on those in a dark world around us.
Take Care, No, Take Action as Children of the Light.
May Christ's Light shine on You,
The Salt Shaker.
